That's the spirit!

Erin was being a bit balky tonight about clearing the table, and as she sat in a chair obviously luxuriating in a pity party of one, from the other room Cameron sang out, 'Erin, keep the sunny side on your face, Erin! Keep the sunny side on your face!'
It didn't help nearly as much as setting the timer for 5 minutes and informing Erin that she either did it now or she would be doing it--along with one of the other kitchen cleanup jobs--for a whole week!
And no, I have no faith that this will be any more efficacious if used when Cameron is having one of his tantrums.
