Hostage of Fortune

This afternoon I let the kids talk me into going out to jump with them on the trampoline.

Now, for safety reasons there is only one entrance/exit through the safety netting, so while we were jumping one of those sneaky kids surreptitiously clipped this securely shut. (This means that it takes about 30 seconds to undo the clips before you can get out.)

When I was ready to get out, Erin and Cameron flung themselves against the opening, barring me from even reaching the clips. Their chortling was intense.

I ended up staying on the trampoline another 20 minutes.
