A Regrettable Moment of Fortitude

A day before Halloween Cindy asked me to hide all the chocolate and candy left over from the Trunk-or-Treat from her to prevent her from snacking (can scarfing really be called snacking??) on it during the day.

Just 5 minutes ago she called, cursing me for hiding it so well (I guess she has been searching), yet not wanting me to tell her. She ate a couple of Cameron's Tootsie Rolls and then, feeling guilty, she is instead began dipping into the candy bars the kids didn't like (which she had hid herself and thus was able to easily find by herself).

Temptations can be very desking...ooops, I mean vexing!
