Dam Frogs (Frogs be dammed?) (Frogs dammed for all eternity?)

Cindy just called (at 11:20 AM) and told me that the kids were all out front in their pajamas ‘playing with their frogs.’ (They found 2 last night, and built little box homes (prisons?) for them.) The kids are looking for grasshoppers and other delicacies.
As we were talking, I heard Kenner and Erin saying they had found another one. Cameron chimed in to say they found it at the little brick and wood dam he had built in the neighboring lot.

Cindy then commented to me, ‘That frog is probably now saying, ‘I’ve been dammed!’’

(We get a lot of mileage out of the homonym 'dam'!)

Yes, the excitement that goes on at our house is just awe-inspiring.
