Pierced to the very core!

Today Erin went through another rite of passage in the pre-teeny-bopper world by getting her ears pierced.
From what I was told, it didn't hurt much and she just loves the studs in her ears right now.
At the time, Cindy considered telling Erin, 'You are officially a woman,' but decided to save that one for a year (or longer, we hope!) down the line, and instead went with, 'You are officially......growing up!'



Regarding her high spirits, when tonight at the dinner table I made the comment, 'Erin, for someone who says they don't like rice much, you are sure chowing down!' she pertly replied, 'Sometimes I'm not in the mood for hot stuff--except for myself!'
